The key to creating the best lawn is finding the right variety for the conditions and use. We'll help you find the perfect fit!

Turf Varieties

(1) Palmetto Soft Leaf Buffalo
This is our most popular Buffalo variety.

Attributes include:

Broad leaf structure & extremely soft feel
High colour retention in winter
High tolerance to full sun
High tolerance to shade, however still requires a minumum of 4 hours direct sunlight per day
Dense and fast lateral growth which means it's great at competing against weeds
Slow vertical growth & low maintenance

(2) Empire Zoysia
This is finer turf than Buffalo varities.

Attributes include:

Medium leaf structure & soft texture
High tolerance to heat, humidity & drought once established
Moderate tolerance to shade
Slow growing which means lower maintenance

(3) Winter Green... aka Green Couch
This is our most affordable turf variety

Attributes include:

A cost effective turf & if cared for will look as good as any premium turf variety
Fine leaf structure
High tolerance to sun
Low tolerance to shade and requires a minumum of 6-8 hours direct sunlight per day
Fast growth

(4) Sapphire Soft Leaf Buffalo
This variety is known for its sappire green tones & delicate appearance

Attributes include:

Broad leaf structure, however finer than Palmetto
Soft feel
High tolerance to shade, however still requires a minumum of 4 hours direct sunlight per day
Slow growth which means lower maintenance

(5) Sir Walter Buffalo
This is similar to Palmetto, however slightly more costly

Attributes include:

Broad leaf structure & extremely soft feel
High tolerance to full sun
High tolerance to shade, however still requires a minumum of 4 hours direct sunlight per day

(6) Aussie Blue Couch
With a soft, beautiful feel this variety is ideal for kids and general backyard activities

Fine-medium leaf structure & soft feel
Higher colour retention than other Couch varieties

Low toleraance to shade and requires a minumum 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day

(7) Qld Blue Couch
A slightly finer variety than Aussie Blue

Attributes include:

Fine-medium leaf structure & soft feel
High tolerance to sun
Low tolerance to shade and requires a minumum 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day
Very slow growth & less resistance to general wear
